Businesses, foundations and glass enthusiasts alike are now able to contribute to the success of this project by becoming a patron of the departmental glass museum and studio.

Being a patron is:

- An ideal public relations tool, based on a growing structure with a positive and dynamic image
- A way of asserting one's values and using one's abilities to serve a common purpose
- A means of supporting local cultural development and to contribute to the quality of life in the area

Creation of a Business Club

A business club is to be set up in September 2012 in order to bring together all the patrons of the departmental glass museum and studio. Through their support, financial or otherwise, these businesses will enable the museum to develop its main purposes i.e. the conservation, support and promotion of studio glass in France and around the world.

Our patrons

Many organizations have already offered their support to this project, such as:

Friends of the Glass Museum
The Friends of the Glass Museum association (Amis du Musée du Verre) organises cultural and artistic activities to promote studio glass in general and the Sars-Poteries glass museum and studio in particular. In order to attract the local population and wider audiences to the glass museum and studio, the organisation holds two events that alternate every two years. The first is entitled the "Glass Bead Days" and is specifically oriented towards glass and bead-making. It is held over two days during which there are lectures, demonstrations and a bead market and exhibition. The second is entitled "Ceramics Days" in connection with Sars-Poteries pottery-making tradition and takes the form of a pottery exhibition and market. These events attract a wide audience and offer us the opportunity to propose visits to the glass museum and workshop.
